Blah

I have been in such a funk since we got home from our trip. I haven't wanted to do a damn thing but lay around in my pajamas all day, and I can't seem to snap out of it. And now I woke up with a cold, so I just want to nap. I haven't done LiveFit since the hotel gym a week ago! I even got pretty new lifting gloves from G-Loves I've been so excited to try out, but they're just collecting dust. My house is a disaster, and I'm all gross and unkempt. I need to snap out of it!! At least I have been mostly eating well, and I'm still logging everything into MFP. Before, I would've given up completely. I was doing so well before, but just can't seem to find that kind of motivation again.

I think I need to set some goals for next year. I'm a planner, and need goals to stay on track. There's a half I'm planning on doing in May, and I'll be doing most, if not all, of a local running club's winter series. Maybe signing up for it will help me get back on track. New Year's is right around the corner, so it's time to figure out what I want to accomplish next year!

What are some of your goals for next year? Help me out because I'm clueless.

  1. I think this cold weather gives me the 'blahs'. I think you should definitely sign up for the winter series! Maybe that'll give you some motivation to get back into it!
    My goals for next year are to run at least 13 half marathons! I'm excited to get started on it!

    1. 13 half marathons!? You are my hero! I saw the challenge on your blog, and have been thinking of signing up, but I'll be sticking to 5- and 10Ks with maybe a half or two in there. I think signing up for the 13 in 2013 challenge will encourage me to stick to it!

  2. Brandi, maybe you should go for a full marathon in 2013! We could train together since the one I have my eye on is in October 2013 :)

    1. I'm still thinking about the September one here. We'll see. I'm definitely doing the half in May, so I'll see how I feel after that.
