Woohoo!! I FINALLY made it to the 160's after 2 years! The last time I saw 160's was when I did WW 3 years ago, I think. I saw 168 for a hot minute, but it didn't last long before I was back to 170-173. Shortly after that, I gave up and haven't seen 160's since. This time, I won't give up! I'm going to keep pushing through 160's to the 150's and keep on keepin' on! I got this.
Friday was my day. That's the day the scale said 169.9. Just *barely* kissing the 160's, but I did not care. It completely made my day, and I felt GREAT! A friend of mine threw a "Passion Party" Friday night, so I went all out getting ready because I felt sexy and hot and all the other adjectives you can think of. I wish I would've taken a picture of my outfit! Alas, this is the only picture I had time for, and all it really shows is my messy house.
Yesterday, I got a tee shirt I bought on Amazon for my neighborhood bunco on Thursday. We're doing a football theme, so everyone is to wear their favorite team stuff. I don't really care, but my husband is a HUGE Cowboys fan so I bought a tee shirt to represent his team. I LOVE it! It makes me feel so sexy, and boobacious, and all around small. I still have a long ways to go before I hit my goal weight, but damn I feel good making progress! I'm already much more confident and self-assure than I was a month ago.
I also bought a shirt for Halloween. My friends and I are doing a 5k the weekend before and decided to dress up as superheroes. Sort of. We're buying superhero shirts, and making tutus to go with them. I decided on Superman, and found this shirt at Spencer's. It's a bit...low. Hello more cleavage than I ever show!
Got my first run in since the big 13.6 on Friday, and it was a sluggish 5k, but I still did it. I've been doing Ripped every day this week too because I was really hoping to be done with it by tomorrow, so I could post my final stats and progress pictures. Saturday, I ended up taking my 2nd rest day since I started 4 weeks ago so I'm going to hold off on posting final stuff until Thursday. That's the 13th, and marks my one month anniversary. :) I'm going to keep doing level 4 for a few more days, so I'll do a full week of it instead of my usual 5 days. I'll be sure to post before & after weights, measurements, and pictures then.
I was worried that the 160's wouldn't stick since I was approaching the weekend, and you know how the weekend goes. I didn't do too badly at my girls' night Friday night, drank a little too much, but not too terribly with the food. I still didn't weigh myself since I was probably bloated and feeling slightly hungover. Last night, we went to Freddy's for dinner, and I felt awful the rest of the night. I wasn't able to finish my whole burger or fries, and I gave my Pepsi to my husband after a couple drinks, but it tore me up! Weighed this morning to get myself back on track fully expecting to see 170's, and I was an even 169! Friday wasn't a fluke!
This means I'm officially 25lbs down from my heaviest, and 20lbs down from my start weight two years ago. I'm also down 8.3lbs in these 4 weeks!
