So despite the butt shot, I made myself go to the gym to get my run in since I only have a month left before the half! I'd mentioned running to the nurse, and she said it would help distribute the medicine and actually help the soreness. I was skeptical, but it worked. I feel fine now.
And I had a kickass run!!
I'm not a fast runner by any means, but I'm totally ok with that. I'm still out there doing, and that makes me proud. I'm typically a 12-13 minute runner, but FINALLY getting all of my training runs in is starting to pay off and my times are getting better. Who knew that actually putting in the mileage and not phoning it in would pay off?! ;)
